Hamood ur Rehman Commission Report
Hamood Ur Rehman Commission Report was made public during Musharraf era 2000-2001 when some of its parts were leaked. Hamood ur rehman commission report is based on the separation of East Pakistan (Now Bangladesh). Govt of Pakistan in 1971 established a commission under the supervision of Chief Justice Hamood Ur Rehman۔ This commission interviewed and investigated famous politicians of the time such as Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and army generals. This report consists of the findings of the commission and is translated in Urdu by Darul Shaour Publications.
This controversial report discloses several shocking state of business by the politicians, generals and bureaucrats. It also discloses the involvement of politicians and military generals in the prostitution and drugs. Moreover, it also explored in the report about the mega corruption scandals of military generals and bureaucrats in East Pakistan. This book consists of 1272 pages and an eye-opener for the population in general and for readers of politics and history in specific.

- “Also resigned from Member Council of Administration for Finance, Planning Commission, Industries, Commerce, Food, and Agriculture.”
- “I was also compulsorily retired as Commander in Chief (Navy).”
- “ I have established such wonderful relations with all political leaders of East Pakistan including Mujeeb
- “Those days, I was struggling with ulcer and I requested President to retire me as Governor but, my request was rejected.
- “After the elections were over, I called (PSO) to arrange the meeting of Mujeeb and Bhutto to find if they can agree on the idea of temporary government?”
- “Sheik Mujeeb Ur Rehman in a meeting with President asked him to call the session of National Assembly on 15th Feb 1971″
- And said ‘you will see, I will not only gain the simple majority but, 2/3rd majority”.
- He also said to the president, ‘My party want you to become elected president of the country.’”
- “Mujeeb send one of his messengers to me and asked ‘Please don’t resign in this situation,
- “You are our only source of coordination with West Pakistan. If you resign, we will not negotiate with any person from west Pakistan.’”
Statement of Khan Abdul Wali Khan
- “Once Maulana Bhashani in Peshawar said ‘He will go to my home and put it on fire.’”
- “After I visited East Pakistan during the flood, someone asked me about the estimate of Mujeeb’s party in the upcoming election,
- I said ‘Before the flood, I estimated fifty to sixty percent votes, but, now after the flood, I believe that he can win 95 percent votes’.
- Someone in the press conference said ‘This is the first irresponsible statement of Wali Khan’”. I replied, ‘I’m telling the truth that you don’t like.’
- “Initially, I thought Yahaya Khan was a simple and fair-spoken person, and, sincere about the transfer of powers,
- But, with time, I had to change my opinion and asserted that he won’t want to transfer the powers to democratic forces.”
- “I asked Mujeeb Ur Rehman, ‘Do you believe in united Pakistan or separated Pakistan.’ He replied ‘I am a Muslim League follower’”
- “I said to President Yahya Khan ‘You’re trying to weaken the very person who can unite Pakistan and he is Mujeeb.’”
President, Women and Hamood ur Rehman Commission
President House at the time of East Pakistan’s partition was a home to many women. Some of those women were famous actresses and celebrities and those were constant visitors of President. Commission report discloses the names of five hundred women who visited President house. Accordingly, president also visited several women at their place.

حمودالرحمٰن کمیشن رپورٹ پاکستان کی تقسیم اور بنگلہ دیش کے قیام پہ بنائے گئے کمیشن کی تفصیلی رپورٹ ہے۔ اس اشاعت کی خصوصیت یہ ہے کہ اس میں اس وقت کے جرنیلوں کے بیانات اور ہندوستان کے بعض قومی اخبارات کی شہ سرخیاں و بیانات بھی شامل کیے گئے ہیں16 دسمبر 1971 کو قائداعظم کا تاقیامت قائم رہنے کے لیے تخلیق وطن دو حصوں میں تقسیم ہوگیا۔ ملک کی اکثریتی ابادی نے الگ وطن بنگلہ دیش بنا لیا۔ قیامِ بنگلہ دیش کا موضوع ہزار ہا چہ مگوئیوں ، مفروضوں اور کہانیوں کی نظر ہوتا رہا۔
یہ اہم قومی و تاریخی دستاویز تین جلدوں میں مکمل ہوئی۔ لیکن اب ان تینوں جلدوں میں یکجا گیا گیا ہے لیکن ہر جلد کی مستقل حیثیت قائم ہے۔
